Welcome to Blue Planet Energy’s ("BPE", "we", “us” and “our”) website (“Website”). The “Privacy Policy” set forth below governs your use of our Website and is designed to inform you about the type of information we may gather or collect from you in connection with your use of our Website. It also explains the conditions under which we use and disclose that information, and your rights in relation to that information.

By accessing or using our Website, you represent that: (a) you are 13 years of age or older; (b) you accept the policies and practices described in this Privacy Policy; (c) you acknowledge that we may modify this Privacy Policy without notice and that by continuing to use our Website as modified, you will be deemed to have accepted the Privacy Policy therein.


BPE and its third-party data-collection services collect both Personally Identifiable Information (“PII”) and Non-Personally Identifiable Information (“Non-PII”) from you through the Website.

Personally Identifiable Information is information, such as a name or email address, that, without more, can be directly associated with a specific person or entity. You do not have to provide PII to use the Website, however, you may choose to provide PII if you wish to place a product order or receive notices and correspondence from us or our third-party affiliates. The PII we ask for may include your name, postal address, telephone number and e-mail address.

Non-Personally Identifiable Information is information that, without more, cannot be directly associated with a specific person or entity. Non-PII may include your MAC address, your computer type, screen resolution, OS version, Internet browser, cookies, pixel tags, web beacons and other similar technologies BPE may use to better serve you with more tailored information and facilitate your ongoing use of our Website. (If you do not want information collected through the use of cookies, there is a simple procedure in most browsers that allows you to decline the use of cookies. To learn more about cookies, please visit Non-PII may also include your Internet Protocol (IP) address, which is a number that is automatically assigned to your computer by your Internet Service Provider (ISP), and which is logged automatically in our server log files whenever you visit the Site, along with the time of your visit and the pages that you visited. Additionally, Non-PII may include demographic data (such as your location), aggregate data, or other data that has been de-identified such that it no longer identifies a particular individual.

We use website analytics services provided by third parties that use cookies and other similar technologies to collect information about website use and to report trends, without identifying individual visitors. The third parties that provide us with these services may also collect information about your use of third-party websites.

BPE and its third-party data collection services may collect and process the following data about you:

  • Details of your visits to our Website and the resources that you access, including, but not limited to, traffic data, location data, weblogs, and other communication data, including your IP address, the date and time you accessed or left the Website, and which pages you viewed. Some parts of our Website use cookies and other technologies to collect this information about your general internet usage.
  • Information that you provide directly to us by filing in forms on our website (for example, to contact us, you must provide your e-mail address).
  • Information that you provide to us when you communicate with us for any reason.

    Our Website contains links to websites of third parties that we may be affiliated with. If you use those links, those third parties may collect information about you. We do not control third-party links or how they collect and use your PII or Non-PII. If you have any questions about how those third-party sites may use or protect your information, you should read the terms and conditions of those third party websites and/or contact them directly.


    Personally Identifiable Information. We or our third-party affiliates may use PII to communicate directly with you when you first provide such information.

    Non-Personally Identifiable Information. Non-PII does not personally identify you. Accordingly, we may use this information and share it with third parties for any purpose. We may combine Non-PII with PII, such as combining your geographic location with your name, but if we do this the information will be treated by us as PII for so long as it is combined. We may aggregate PII such that the end-product does not personally identify you or any other user of the Website.

    Legal Requirements. We may use PII and Non-PII for any purpose required or permitted by the law of any country.


    BPE contracts with third parties to distribute, install and maintain BPE products and, as a result, BPE may disclose your information, including your PII and Non-PII, to:

  • Our affiliated companies;
  • Our contractors, service providers, and other third-parties that we use to support our business and operations, and are bound by contractual obligations to keep personal information confidential and use it only for the purposes for which we disclose it to them;
  • To a third party if we reorganize, merge, sell, assign, transfer or dispose of all or any part of our business, assets or stock.
  • To protect the rights, property or safety of BPE, our customers or others. This includes exchanging information with third parties for the purposes of fraud protection and credit-risk reduction.
  • To comply with legal processes, to respond to requests from governmental and/or public authorities of any country in which we operate, to enforce our terms and conditions, to protect our operations, to protect your and our rights, privacy, safety or property, and to enable us to pursue available remedies or limit the damages that we may sustain.

    We seek to use reasonable measures to protect PII under our control; however, no data transmission over the Internet or data storage system can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. Please do not send to us any highly-sensitive information via e-mail. If you have reason to believe that your interaction with us is no longer secure, you must immediately notify us of the problem by contacting us via our Website. If you choose to notify us by physical mail this will delay the time it takes for us to respond to the problem.


    We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any updates are effective as of the effective date shown at the bottom of the Privacy Policy. You may wish to review the Privacy Policy from time to time to see any updates to the way in which we use your personal information. By using the Website after the Privacy Policy has been updated, you agree to the terms of the updated Privacy Policy.


    If you would like to update PII about you that has been previously provided to BPE, you may do so by notifying us through our Website. We will endeavor to comply with your request as soon as reasonably practicable. We may need to retain certain information for recordkeeping purposes, and there may also be residual information that will remain within our databases and other records, which will not be removed. We are not responsible for removing or suppressing information from the databases of third parties with whom we have already shared PII about you.


    Website is not directed to individuals under the age of thirteen (13), and we request that these individuals do not provide PII through the Site.
