Dear Blue Planet Energy Customer,
Our LFP battery module supplier, Murata (formerly Sony), has decided to cease manufacturing the module that serves as the foundation of the Blue Ion Energy Storage System. To continue offering LFP-based systems, we would need to source modules from lower-cost Chinese suppliers—a path we have chosen not to pursue.
Instead, we are actively researching new, more efficient, and cost-effective battery chemistries. Once we complete this R&D phase, we plan to introduce a next-generation successor to the Blue Ion system.
To continue operations during this transition, we have scaled down to a skeleton crew. That said, we remain committed to honoring all existing contracts, fulfilling outstanding orders, and servicing our warranty obligations. However, due to our reduced staffing, our response times and support capacity may not meet the standards you've come to expect.
We deeply appreciate your loyalty and support, and we look forward to rebuilding the business once we’ve identified and launched our next battery platform.
